21st Annual Luncheon, November 2024
Success Capital Celebrates Their Year-End at Dust Bowl Brewing Company, Turlock
Success Capital Expansion & Development Corporation (Success Capital) held their 21st Annual Luncheon on November 7, 2024, celebrating another successful year for SBA 504 loans in their region. The luncheon event was held once again at the Dust Bowl Brewery Company in Turlock, CA.
Success Capital acknowledged some of Central Valley’s finest SBA banks and loan officers. SBA 504 Loans are an amazing loan product for small businesses needing to expand and finance commercial real estate or equipment. Despite the rising rate environment this past year, the SBA 504 lending increased 34% nationally from pre-pandemic numbers. Small businesses were able to continue to expand, purchase their own buildings while creating new jobs.
This year’s event featured guest speaker was Debbie Huber, Farmers Insurance Agent and owner of Huber Insurance Agency of Turlock, CA. Debbie shared, while having a fireside chat with Success Capital President, Marsha Carr, the changes going on in the insurance world. Many large insurance companies are pulling out of California, no longer insuring California properties. For companies continuing to insure in California, the premiums are increasing considerably making insurance no longer affordable. Debbie is a multiple SBA 504 loan borrower, purchasing and financing her business’ office.
Marsha Carr, President and CEO of Success Capital gave updates to the guests including exciting new information regarding changes to the 504 Debt Refi program.
Attendees included Success Capital’s Board of Directors and Staff, U. S. Small Business Administration, UC Merced SBDC, San Joaquin County SBDC, Valley Sierra SCORE, SBA 504 banking partners, representatives from our title companies, commercial realtors, and many other Success Capital guests.
